Sony Cybershot

The Mission Estate Winery is a large music event attended by thousands of people in New Zealand. Throughout the event 8 photographers take photos of the event. An online solution was required for event patrons to access these photos quickly. This portal, sponsored by for Sony was developed as an event management system. With various concerts, events and shows throughout the year they wanted a way to photograph event goers and allow them to easily find and printed their pictures online without having to receive a ticker or number associated with their image.

JSA devised a process where each photographer would wear an individually coloured sash. As they walked around the event taking pictured they would simply remind people of their colour and the time the picture was taking.

Visitors could then retrieve their image by going to the site and entering the photographer colour and the approximate time of the photo.

This system automatically scales the photographers images to the appropriate sizes, provides for branded and watermarked image downloads.

Each user had to register and login to view a larger photo, or to forward to a friend. This was a perfect way to build their marketing database for next year’s event.
