"Just 500m off the coast of Abu Dhabi, Saadiyat Island is poised to become a truly special place. A timeless place born out of collective inspiration, Saadiyat will be a destination experience of rich depth and diversity, uncommon in our modern world.

In its essence, Saadiyat is a multi-faceted island destination offering a great variety of attractions to many different people. A buzzing business hub for international commerce; a relaxed waterfront home for residents; a cultural magnet for arts aficionados; the home of dazzling architectural icons; a pristine beachfront tourism destination and a focal point for compelling sporting experiences, such as the Gulf’s only tidal and ocean golf courses. It will also be the only place in the world to house architecture designed by five individual Pritzker prize winners. Saadiyat Island will be an irresistible magnet attracting the world to Abu Dhabi – and taking Abu Dhabi to the world."

Working with key stakeholders, JSA MassMedia designed and build a bespoke CMS solution that dealt with the unique requirements of the Saadiyat Island team. Not only was this a CMS that managed the English content but one that also allowed seamless control of the Arabic content as well.

Given the complexity of the Arabic language it was essential that the site be subtly flipped without losing the design appeal. JSA seamlessly integrated the Arabic language into a Flash based website while ensuring that the Arabic and English language share all the same graphical elements and website functions.
The Unified CMS has a bespoke module specifically designed to allow for editing Arabic and English in a dual environment.

The development of the Saadiyat Island website was conducted under a phased delivery schedule  to ensure that the schedules of associated external marketing campaigns were not impacted. The site was initially deployed in English then, after a short period, in Arabic.

This stunningly visual portal site presents the seven districts under the Saadiyat Island development in the United Arab Emirates.  It has been created for TDIC to promote the development and present the essence of the island.
