Working with key stakeholders, JSA Digital initially coordinated a series of strategy workshops with key stakeholders to define the business goals of the website.
After catagorising the complex product range and configurable options, many database variables became essential to cater for future products and the subsequent customisation of products during a search. The entire interface was detailed via wireframe development before the creative process began.
Users are presented with a simple interface, and encouraged to narrow down their search by ‘use’ or ‘type’. This step-by-step process was an essential design to ensure the website retained an ease of use functionality.
As the website has a worldwide audience the CMS allows diffrent languages, product and content depending on your location in the world. The site was deployed in English, American (spelling), Italian and German.
These language options are controlled through the development of a custom built ‘instance manager’, which controls multiple ‘instances’ of the same website content via a centrally managed CMS. The CMS then geo-targets based on the end-users’ physical location.
The ‘instance builder’ controls not just the relevant website content for each region, but seamlessly ties into the product manager cutting down on work and overheads.
